Wineglass Bay Day Tour
Wineglass Bay Tour

Swansea Town + Fienna National Park + Wineglass Bay + Cowes Bay + Honeymoon Bay

After setting off in the morning, we will continue to the Great Eastern Drive, which is also known as Tasmania's Great Ocean Road. There are many beautiful bay towns along the route, such as Swansea, which has only about 1,000 people living here. It is located on the sheltered inner shore of Great Oyster Bay, without high winds and waves, and is very peaceful. As early as 1798, European explorers discovered this place. By 1827, it had become a military fortress, and now it has become one of the famous resorts in Tasmania.

For lunch, consider visiting Freycinet Marine Farm to enjoy Pacific oysters and Tasmanian blue mussels, as well as Tasmanian-caught seafood such as Atlantic salmon from the west coast, abalone and rock lobster from the west and east, scallops from Bass Strait and sea urchin from the east coast.

After lunch, we climbed up to the Wineglass Bay Observation Deck. The round trip is 3 kilometers in total and takes about 1.5 hours. There are many stairs along the way. People with limited mobility and the elderly please inform us in advance so that the company can make special arrangements. Wineglass Bay is a half-moon-shaped white sand beach, named after its shape like a red wine glass. It was once named one of the top ten beaches in the world in 1999. From the high-altitude observation deck, you can overlook the crystal-clear Wineglass Bay, Coase Bay and Honeymoon Bay. After climbing the mountain, you can also look for wild kangaroos near the Wineglass Bay parking lot.

Honeymoon Bay is a small bay near Cowes Bay. It is known for its pure waters and is a paradise for swimming, boating and fishing enthusiasts in summer.
